Stages in the programme
The programme contains three stages. Students
will initially undertake the
Postgraduate Certificate. Students can then
progress to the Postgraduate
Diploma and then onto the MSc. A full description of the content of all modules is available from the main departmental website. The content of modules is identical in all modes of the course - face-to-face, part-time and distance.
Programme structure
Students that wish to proceed to the Postgraduate Diploma need to be in appropriate employment. Your employment should require some analysis of business situations, in the private or public sector. Samples of your work will form the basis of reflection and learning projects, guided by a personal mentor.
Students who complete the Diploma and gain sufficient marks to proceed to the MSc will be expected to undertake a project. The project will be integrated with your employment. The final decision as to what "appropriate employment" is remains with the University of Strathclyde. You will have individual personal mentoring to guide you in reflection and learning.
